Past Officers

CWIT’s Executive Committee is comprised of the officers, the Immediate Past Chairperson, and the OWIT Representative. The officers of CWIT shall consist of a Chairperson, a Vice Chairperson, a Secretary, a Vice Secretary, a Treasurer, and a Member at Large. Officers of the Executive Committee shall be elected for a two-year terms by voting membership of CWIT. Officers term of office shall be for two years, from May 1 to April 30 of the second year.

Past Scholarship Recipients

In 2004, CWIT began offering scholarships to aid South Carolina resident students who are enrolled/enrolling in an accredited higher education program in pursuit of a degree specific to international trade or related course of study. To date, 37 students have received CWIT scholarships, amounting to a grand total of $87K since our scholarship program began in 2004, over 15 years ago! Awards are presented at the Annual Meeting and Banquet held in April of each year. Funds for CWIT scholarships are primarily earned during the Annual Event held in the fall.

Past Women of the Year (WOTY)

In 2004, CWIT began  recognition of a highly respected female who is a resident of South Carolina and whose career achievements and/or volunteerism profoundly enhanced the status of women in international trade.
